Online Meeting/Group Guidance
If you attend one of our online meetings, please make sure you follow this guidance so that everyone attending has a positive experience.
1. Be Kind and Courteous
We’re all in this together so create a welcoming environment. Let’s treat everyone with respect. Healthy debates are natural, but kindness is required.
2. Lift each other up don’t bring each other down
We all need to vent our frustrations sometimes, so please feel free to do so, however we do not welcome negative discussions where individual schools or professionals are mentioned by name. We want this to be a helpful group where we lift each other up through support and nurturing.
3. No Naming and Shaming
Please keep any comments about services constructive and please avoid using a professionals name, but if you must, then please don’t share anything that can be seen as negative towards an individual. This is not the right place to do that. We appreciate some negative experiences happen and encourage you to follow that organisations procedures to try to find a solution.
4. No hate speech or bullying
Make sure everyone feels safe. Bullying of any kind isn’t allowed, and degrading comments about things such as race, religion, culture, sexual orientation, gender or identity will not be tolerated.
5. Respect everyone’s privacy
Being part of this group requires mutual trust. Authentic, expressive discussions make groups great, but may also be sensitive and private. What’s shared in the group should stay in the group.
6. Break the Rules and You’re Out of Here!
Please stick to the rules to make everyone’s experience more enjoyable. The hosts have the right to remove people from the event at their discretion.
